The North East Radio Club (NERC) encourages all types of radio and allied interests in electronics, with an emphasis on amateur radio. The club is primarily for people residing in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide with several other clubs in metropolitan and country areas.

NERC is involved in many aspects of the hobby.  This includes the development, maintenance and operation of:

Very High Frequency (VHF) 2m voice repeater (VK5RHO 146.850 MHz)
Ultra High Frequency (UHF)  70cm voice repeater (VK5RHO 439.875 MHz)
Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) node for the metropolitan area (VK5RHO 145.175 MHz)
National VK (Australia) Sunday Broadcast compilation (MP3 Download)
Local VK5 (South Australia) Sunday Broadcast compilation (MP3 Download)

We also encourage social participation in amateur radio through visits to other clubs and our own socially orientated meetings at times during the year. We are committed to providing interesting and informative meetings with guest presenters, demonstrations, or activities involving members and visitors.
